The magic of pantomime is set to be more accessible this Christmas, with British Sign Language (BSL) interpreted and relaxed performances of Jack and the Beanstalk at Telford Theatre.
The festive family production runs from 15 December 2026 to 2 January 2027 and features Ian Smith as Dame Trott, Carl Dutfield as Carl the Cow, Scott Wright as Fleshcreep, Sally Cove as Princess Jill, Ryan Rooth as Jack and Georgina Newton as The Fairy.
The programme includes a BSL interpreted performance at 6.30pm on Sunday 20 December 2026 and a relaxed performance at 11am on Monday 28 December 2026.
The relaxed performance has been specially adapted to create a more welcoming environment for adults and children with autism, sensory communication disorders or learning difficulties. It may also be suitable for people living with dementia and those who prefer a gentler theatre experience, with adjustments to reduce loud noises and create a calmer atmosphere.
Packed with laughter, spectacular scenery, colourful costumes, magical effects and audience participation, Jack and the Beanstalk offers festive entertainment for all ages.
Tickets for all performances, including the BSL interpreted and relaxed performances, are on sale now via the Telford Theatre website.
