Join The Friends of Dothill Local Nature Reserve on a guided walk around part of Dothill Local Nature Reserve, seeking out some of the beautiful trees on their 50 Tree Trail.
This is a walk that all families can enjoy again and again following the self-guided trail map.

Explore Green open spaces and interesting historic places around Lightmoor with a social cafe visit to conclude. Around 4.5 miles. An exploration along lanes, tracks, bridleways, woodland, Local Nature Reserves and field paths (may be muddy in places after rain).
The walk will end at Emma's Deli in the centre of Lightmoor, with a voucher for a free drink, plus the usual range of pay as you go hot and cold snacks will be available to eat inside or out.
Dogs on welcome on short leads only, we also ask that you advise the team that you are bringing your dog at the time of booking.

A family friendly walk from the centre of Lightmoor Village to the local nature reserve, guided by Shropshire Wildlife Trust.
Along the way you will explore nature using all our senses, hunt for bugs and see what wildlife we can discover.
Activities will be aimed at families with pre-school children, but older siblings are welcome to join in too.
The walk will follow the footpaths but the ground on the nature reserve is unsuitable for prams, pushchairs, wheelchairs and mobility scooters.
Pushchairs can be left in a secure location close to the start of the walk and collected at the end.
The walk will be approximately 1 mile with some hilly and muddy bits. We will be going slowly at ‘toddler’ pace with plenty of stops along the way.

Join Wellington Walkers are Welcome for a circular walk and a tour of the Eco Trail and Gardens at DENSO Manufacturing on Hortonwood. Constructed by DENSO Associates in conjunction with local schools and wildlife trusts, the garden is an example of corporate environmental conservation in the local community.
Walkers can enjoy a slice of pizza from the wood fired oven at the end of the walk.

Lyreco are one of Telford's biggest single employers and this site is their local workplace distributor headquarters. This walk includes a visit to their 55,000 square metres warehouse, with an opportunity to see their extensive rooftop solar power arrays that help power the site and electric vehicles, their gallery exhibition of award winning photos of our outstanding local countryside, their Eco Garden, plus an opportunity to explore adjacent footpaths with a short walk around Granville Country Park (around 3 Miles).
Hot drink refreshments will be provided, there will also be an opportunity to purchase food at the staff canteen restaurant or you can bring a packed lunch to eat in the Eco Garden afterwards (weather permitting).

Batty about bats

A guided evening stroll in the Lightmoor Nature Reserve with our batty expert from Shropshire Wildlife Trust, spotting some of or more elusive wildlife: beautiful bats.
We'll start off in the Squatter's Cottage with an introduction to the reserve, where you'll be the first to watch some fantastic camera trap footage captured by volunteers. You'll get an introduction to using bat detectors, which we'll have on hand during the walk.
Please note this walk is in the dark, it’s recommended to bring a torch, wear suitable sturdy footwear, and warm clothing
Refreshments will be provided at the end of the walk.
