Telford Balloon Fiesta is just over a month away

The countdown is on for the return of the popular Telford Balloon Fiesta, taking place over the August Bank Holiday weekend in Telford Town Park.

With hot air balloons, live entertainment, family activities, food and drink, and the ever-popular Night Glow, there's plenty for visitors of all ages to look forward to.

Night Glow

The festivities begin on Friday evening with the ticketed Night Glow event, which promises a packed programme of entertainment before the illuminated balloon display takes centre stage at 9:30pm.

Visitors can enjoy performances from Mr Motivator, Alfie Hayward, Arco Loveheart, the Boardroom Café Science Show, a spectacular Fire Dance, and live music from Paul Shuttleworth throughout the evening.

Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Balloon Fiesta Weekender

The free Balloon Fiesta Weekender takes place on Saturday and Sunday from 12 noon to 7pm and will feature a packed programme of entertainment across the QEII Arena.

Highlights include:

• Wings Parachute Team displays
• Live music throughout the day
• We Are Telford Carnival Parade on Sunday
• Stunt shows
• Circus workshops and family activities
• Tethered balloons in the arena
• Food, drink and market stalls

Scheduled hot air balloon launches are planned for both early morning (6am) and early evening (6pm), with all flights subject to weather conditions and approval from the Flight Director.
