Krazy Races Soapbox Derby is heading to Telford Town Park

The UK’s largest touring soapbox derby, Krazy Races, is coming to Telford Town Park for the very first time on Sunday 12 July 2026, in partnership with Telford & Wrekin Council.

This free-to-attend, award-winning event promises a day of wild, wacky racing, creative kart designs, and fantastic family fun all while raising vital funds for local charities.

Up to 40 local teams will race handcrafted soapboxes down a thrilling downhill course packed with ramps, obstacles, and chicanes. Alongside the races, visitors can enjoy a lively event village featuring family entertainment, local food and drink, and live performances.
