Join Telford Steam Railway for a Christmas experience like no other aboard The Polar Express™ Train Ride, returning for 2025. Inspired by the beloved 2004 motion picture, this theatrical journey brings the magic of the film to life as families travel in pyjamas to the North Pole.

Before departure, guests can enjoy pre-show entertainment and refreshments while exploring Hero Boy’s bedroom scene. Once aboard, the Conductor will punch Golden Tickets and keep everyone entertained with his signature wit and charm. Singing Chefs will serve hot chocolate and cookies in Polar Express™ cups, while reading from the storybook as scenes unfold around the carriage.

Premium passengers receive a limited edition ceramic Polar Express™ mug and a gift bag per pair of seats, along with extended time with Santa.

As the train steams into the North Pole, passengers will spot the red-brick Elf factory, clock tower, reindeer, and the giant tree aglow with golden lights. Santa, joined by his mischievous Elves, boards the train to present each child with The First Gift of Christmas – a Silver Sleigh Bell.

The return journey features festive carols led by the Chefs. Back at the station, the magic continues in the Christmas Workshop, where guests can write letters to Santa, pass through the Naughty or Nice Scanner, and see iconic items from the film including the Famous Hot Chocolate Machine.

This enchanting experience promises lasting memories for all ages.
