We live, breathe and love creativity here in Telford.  Our heritage in arts and crafts spans so many genres from cast iron, ceramics, glass and textile.  We are home to Great British Brands and heritage products and our products can be seen in homes, palaces and cathedrals across the world from Merrythought Teddy bears to Craven Dunnill tiles.  Our artisan community is thriving with studios, design houses and factories busy making, demonstrating and sharing their skills.  We have attracted some great names to Telford like Jay Blades with his J&CO brand and also inspired home grown talent like Sculptor Jacob Chandler who’s installations are prolific.  Come and attend one of the many makers workshops where you can learn everything from coracle making and glass blowing to china rose making, baking and upholserty.  Or simply browse our art galleries and artisan shops.
