Discover the Coronation Walks, 23 Scenic Trails across Telford's epic landscapes and heritage Towns. These short, circular walks are perfect for both locals and visitors, offering a unique experience with each step.

Each walk is waymarked and comes with a detailed guide, including links to OS maps, written instructions in a PDF, and a GPX file for easy navigation. With these tools, you can fully immerse yourself in Telford's picturesque surroundings.

The popular trails each offer an immersive outdoor experience. The Newport Walk takes you along the Newport Canal, into the charming village of Edgmond, through an epic quarry, and back to the heritage market town of Newport via quiet lanes and field paths. The Leegomery & Apley Woods Circular Walk is a delightful woodland walk through heritage forests and dramatic sculptures, perfect for an artistic walking experience. Challenging and breathtaking, the Wellington Walk steps into history by exploring the historic town and market, then ventures through the gateway to the Wrekin and The Ercall, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Ercall features beautiful bluebell woodlands in May and three stunning viewpoints. Be prepared for rough terrain and hills; wear sturdy footwear as paths may be wet and muddy.
