For one day only entry to Coalbrookdale Museum of Iron will be free as it hosts a special day-long event as part of the national Festival of Archaeology.

Local historical and archaeological societies and groups will be on site at the museum talking to the public about their work. There will also be a series of local walks and tours, and short talks.

This event is sponsored by The Association for Industrial Archaeology (AiA) and is part of a UK-wide festival organised by the Council for British Archaeology.
