The White Hart

About

Sitting on the Banks of the River Severn in the heart of the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge Gorge, the historic White Hart is an independently owned 'foodie' pub with rooms.  There are 5 contemporary bedrooms providing the perfect location for guests to enjoy a weekend of short break in the Gorge.  The Pub Inn is a popular location for foodies and with its exposed courtyard, it is the the perfect setting for drinks day and night offering spectacular views over river.  The White Hart is just 300 yds down from the world famous Iron Bridge so a great place to explore the world famous gorge and its museums.  Did you know that Bill Bryson made the pub famous in his 2015 Notes from a small island revisited  where he shared his love for the hospitality and welcome that made The White Hart so special.  Dining here is a real treat.  The gallery restaurant seats up to 40 for private events and the downstairs cafe bar atmosphere seats up to 50.  Local head Chef Sam Morgan Butler makes everything on site and serves food 7 days a week ( closed tuesday dinner).  Our sister pub is the Water Rat Inn.
