This workshop offers the opportunity to learn how to make a rustic frame basket using traditional willow weaving techniques.

During the course, participants are introduced to the basic tools and techniques of willow weaving. The session focuses on creating a frame basket, beginning with learning how to make and connect a pair of hoops to form the basket frame. Ribs are then added, providing the structure to weave around and shape the basket.

The finished basket is practical and versatile, making it suitable for foraging, collecting fruit and vegetables from the garden, or using for shopping. Clear guidance is provided throughout the workshop, allowing participants to develop their skills while creating a functional basket.

By the end of the session, participants will take home their completed rustic frame basket.
