This workshop introduces the basic tools and techniques of willow weaving, with participants creating a willow dragonfly and a mini bird feeder to decorate the garden during the summer.

Suitable for complete beginners, the session focuses on learning the spiral weave technique. Participants are guided through using this method to create a dragonfly, which is mounted on a stick so it can be displayed above flowers and shrubs.

The same weaving technique is then used with a different form to create a small bird seed feeder. Throughout the workshop, participants receive clear instruction and hands-on guidance as they develop their weaving skills.

By the end of the session, attendees will take home both a willow dragonfly and a mini bird feeder, ready to use as natural garden decorations.
