A brand-new chapter has begun for book lovers visiting Ironbridge, as Book Nook officially opens its doors at 4 The Square.

This exciting new addition to the town is the latest venture from Meg Prince, the well-known face behind The Ironbridge Bookshop, located right next door. Building on the success of her existing store, Meg has expanded her offering with a vibrant new space that promises to be much more than just a bookshop.

The newly launched Book Nook has been thoughtfully designed as a dedicated venue for literary events and creative workshops. Visitors can look forward to a packed schedule including author talks, poetry sessions, children’s reading times, tabletop gaming, board game nights, and hands-on hobby and craft workshops.

Recognising the continued growth of the second-hand book market, Meg hopes the new space will not only serve the local community but also draw in visitors from further afield  helping to boost footfall and bring even more life to Ironbridge’s unique high street.

With over a decade of experience in the book trade, Meg is passionate about helping people discover the joy of reading. Alongside a wide range of fiction and non-fiction, she has a keen eye for sourcing educational titles and specialist books from across the UK.

Book Nook is already shaping up to be a one-of-a-kind destination for readers and creatives alike. Whether you’re popping in to browse, taking part in a themed event, or hunting for your next great read, it’s a welcome new stop on any Ironbridge itinerary.
