A magical Easter adventure will launch at one of the region’s most popular family attractions.
Weston Park, the stately home on the Staffordshire/Shropshire border, has unveiled its brand-new experience Down the Rabbit Hole.
The enchanting immersive trail – which will be open in Temple Wood from March 28 to April 12 – will take visitors into a playful world of curiosity and discovery.
Guided by Weston’s resident rabbit, Mr Fortywinks, visitors will uncover a series of hidden clues and meet a host of delightful characters as they make their way through the woodland.
Victoria Hodgkins, marketing executive at Weston Park, said: “Mr FortyWinks has woken to discover he is late for a tea party in Temple Wood. The only way to get there in time is by finding the right rabbit hole.
“The problem is that Temple Wood is bursting with rabbit holes, and not all of them lead to friendly teacups and jam tarts – some belong to prickly hedgehogs, others hide curious badgers and a few may lead to some very unusual places.
“As visitors tiptoe along the woodland trail, you’ll uncover enchanting poems, meet wonderfully odd characters and solve curious clues hidden among the trees.
“Down the Rabbit Hole is designed to inspire curiosity and adventure, encouraging visitors to explore our beautiful, historic woodlands while taking part in a playful Easter story.
“We hope families will enjoy discovering each part of the trail together and make lasting memories during their visit to Weston this spring.”
Visitors taking part in the trail will be able to purchase an activity pack and map to help guide them on their adventure and uncover all the hidden clues.
Entry tickets to Weston Park can be purchased online in advance or on the day.
