Amphitheatre season draws to a close after summer of culture in Telford Town Park

Telford Town Park Amphitheatre has wrapped up its debut summer season, with performances and free events drawing crowds to the newly restored outdoor venue.

Telford Town Park Amphitheatre has closed its first summer season since reopening, with over 7,800 people attending performances and events at the historic venue.

The season launched with a free opening weekend in July, before a summer-long programme of theatre, comedy, family shows and free band days brought the Amphitheatre back to life. The season concluded with a performance of Shakespeare's Macbeth from The HandleBards on 3 September.

Highlights of the summer included performances of Treasure Island, The Tempest, stand-up comedy, Peter Rabbit and The Railway Children, alongside a series of free band days that proved popular with local families and music fans.

Planning is already underway for next year's programme, with details of the 2027 season to be announced in due course.
