About
Head to Coalport China Museum this October half term for a creative clay workshop celebrating Day of the Dead. Inspired by vibrant Mexican folk art, children will have the opportunity to craft beautiful decorative skulls using air dry clay, guided by the museum’s friendly team.
Once shaped, the skulls can be taken home the same day and painted once dry, allowing families to continue the fun and personalise their creations. This hands-on activity offers a unique way to explore cultural traditions while enjoying a relaxed and artistic experience.
This event is suitable for all ages and provides a perfect opportunity for children to get creative during the school holidays. Whether you're a budding artist or just looking for something fun to do, the Day of the Dead clay workshop promises a colourful and engaging experience in the heart of Ironbridge Gorge.
Pre-booking is not required, simply purchase your workshop ticket at the front desk on arrival. The cost is £2 per person. Please note that during busy times, there may be a short wait for space in the workshop.
