About
Families can enjoy an egg‑citing day out this Easter at the RAF Museum Midlands, with a packed programme of activities. Perfect for lovers of chocolate, animals and creative crafts, the Museum offers fun for all ages throughout the school holidays.
Younger visitors can take part in The Great Egg Hunt, an indoor trail that leads families around the Museum in search of hidden eggs. Along the way, participants will uncover 11 secret letters before cracking the final code word. Successful egg‑hunters will be rewarded with a tasty chocolate treat. The trail costs £3 per person.
Animal enthusiasts can join RAF Animals and Friends!, an interactive one‑hour experience exploring the vital role animals have played in the RAF, past and present. Visitors will meet a wonderful variety of species, which change daily, including owls, snakes, lizards and even a curious kinkajou. Tickets are £5 per person.
Creative families can get hands‑on in the Build a Bird Box workshop. Participants can choose from three seasonal designs - egg, chick or rabbit and learn how bird boxes support local wildlife. With guidance from the Museum’s team, everyone can build and decorate a box to take home, giving garden birds a safe nesting place. This activity also costs £5 per person.
With free entry to the Museum and pre‑bookable Easter activities the RAF Museum Midlands offers a cracking day out this half‑term.
