About
Families are invited to take part in a fun and engaging welly walk through Loamhole Dingle, guided by Amber from Severn Gorge Countryside Trust.
This seasonal walk encourages children to explore watery wildlife as they compare what they find in the new pond with discoveries made in the dingle. The experience is designed to be hands‑on and interactive, helping young explorers learn more about the natural environment in an enjoyable and accessible way.
During the walk, there is also the opportunity to build small rafts and watch how they move with the current, adding an extra element of fun and curiosity to the day. The activity combines exploration, learning and play, making it ideal for families looking to enjoy the outdoors together.
Please note that the route includes steps and slopes and is therefore not suitable for pushchairs. Outdoor footwear is recommended to make the most of the experience and to ensure comfort and safety throughout the walk.
This walk is part of Telford Walk Week 2026 - discover more FREE guided walks taking place here.
