About
A landmark event in the brass band calendar and in the World Heritage Site of Ironbridge Gorge, the Ironbridge Brass Band Festival, returns for a weekend of powerful performances, community spirit, and world-class music.
The Ironbridge Gorge Brass Band Festival is a highlight of the summer and one of the UK’s best opportunities to experience the full richness of the brass band repertoire—live, loud, and in the open air.
Set in the stunning historic grounds of the Museum of Iron, this free two-day event features a unique mix of over 20 bands—from championship contenders and competition winners to passionate grassroots ensembles. Expect a vibrant atmosphere, great food and drink, and music to suit every taste.
The weekend’s showstopper is the Gala Concert, now indoors for an even more immersive experience. Taking centre stage is the ever-popular Jackfield Band, fresh from a triumphant 2024 season, joined by international trombone sensation Brett Baker—principal trombone of the Cory Band and one of the most recorded brass soloists in the world. Expect a thrilling evening of musical brilliance, all in support of charity.
