Three creepy mechanical toys that are glowing in the dark

About

Hosted at Enginuity and inspired by Coalbrookdale’s rich history as an engineering hub, this special Halloween workshop invites children to get hands-on and make their own mechanical toy. Participants can choose to create a moving mechanical monster, a flapping bat or a flying ghost, with special glow-in-the-dark paint adding an extra spooky touch to their creations.

This engaging activity offers a fun and educational experience for children, combining creativity with simple engineering principles in a setting that celebrates the area’s industrial heritage. It’s a perfect way to enjoy the Halloween season while learning through play.

Whether crafting a creepy creature or experimenting with motion, children will leave with a unique handmade toy and a memorable experience.

No pre-booking is required, simply purchase a ticket from the front desk on arrival. Please note that during busy periods, there may be a short wait for a space in the workshop.
