Celebrate the season in Southwater as the Made in Telford Christmas Makers Market and Christmas Yurt brings festive cheer to the heart of Telford.

Discover an array of locally crafted gifts, handmade decorations, and foodie treats from talented artisan makers across Telford and Wrekin. Browse stalls both inside the cosy Christmas Yurt and throughout Southwater, open daily from 10am to 8pm, and soak up the seasonal atmosphere with live music, workshops, festive films, and more.

This brand-new festive experience is free to enjoy, with drop-in activities running throughout the week – plus special paid workshops for those who’d like to get hands-on with wreath making or Christmas decoration crafting.

Saturday 29 November 2025 – Telford Day
Celebrate Telford’s birthday and the very first Telford Day.

• 10.30am: Cinderella film screening + colouring (FREE)
• 2pm–4pm: Colour Your Own Telford Day Flag creative workshop (FREE)
• 5.30pm: Telford Day Lantern Parade – featuring the Music Bike, Are You Dancing, an Illuminated Bike Ride, and the brand-new Telford Flag design. The parade will travel from Telford Town Park to Southwater Square, finishing with a magical floating lantern display on the lake.
• 7pm–9.30pm: Live music from saxophonist Rick Cosco (FREE)
