Families can enjoy plenty of free Halloween fun in Wellington this half term with a programme of spooky activities taking place from Saturday 24 to Saturday 31 October.
Love Wellington’s annual Halloween Trail and Pumpkin Hunt returns, with pumpkin characters hidden in business windows across the town. Participants can collect a free trail map from Wellington Orbit, find the pumpkins and record their names along the way. Completed maps can then be returned to Wellington Orbit to receive a free sweet treat, kindly provided by Sweets Galore in Wellington Market.
A free Spooky Day takes place in Wellington Market Square on Wednesday 28 October from 11am to 1pm, featuring slime making, spooky spinner crafts and science show-and-tell demonstrations from Elementary Entertainment.
Wellington Orbit will host a FREE screening of Casper on Thursday 29 October at 11.30am. Booking is required, book your seat here.
Visitors can also join Wellington Ghost Walks on Monday 26, Thursday 29 and Saturday 31 October. Hosted by Boardroom Gaming Café and funded by Wellington Town Council, the walks explore Wellington’s weird and witchy history, beginning with a free hot chocolate at The Orbit.
On Saturday 31 October, Wellington Community Library will host Halloween Stories & Crafts from 11am to 12pm for children aged 3-8 and their grown-ups. Book your place via email here.
